Fall in the Old Country

September 27 - October 25

London, Bath, North Pembrokeshire, Wales, and Porto

As it turned out, Solsbury Hill was just a short walk from our flat in Bath and we took the opportunity to hike it!

Climbing up on Solsbury Hill

I could see the city light

Wind was blowing, time stood still

Eagle flew out of the night

He was something to observe

Came in close, I heard a voice

Standing, stretching every nerve

I had to listen, had no choice

I did not believe the information

Just had to trust imagination

My heart going "Boom-boom-boom"

"Son, " he said

"Grab your things, I've come to take you home"

Hey, back home

Snapshots from the UK and Portugal

Our flat for 2 weeks in SE London

Jordan Rakei at Royal Albert Hall - a night of beautiful and soulful music.

A walk in the English countryside and a visit to Gravesend Kent - the burial site of Pocahontas.

Bath UK, a vibe we love and keep returning to.

Wales UK - a country we fell in love with and it continues to call us back. These photos are from Brecon Beacons (inland) and North Pembrokeshire (on the Celtic Sea).

Porto Portugal — Our first time in this lovely city. We walked many miles on the city streets, ate fabulous fresh seafood cooked on a charcoal grill in Gaia, Heidi surfed at Matosinhos, and I mountain biked in the north, up to the border with Spain. I also visited what might be the vibiest public bathroom EVER!

The pichação (graffiti) in Porto was world class and featured paint as well as tiles.
